Boo-tiful Portraits Photo Shoot

     Alright! Kraftymamaof 5 here to bring all my ghouls and goblins some news from beyond the normal, humdrum world of picture taking. If you are interested in having some spooktacular family portraits that will absolutely blow every other one that you have ever taken away, then check out my journey that transformed my family into the eternally creepy vampire clan.  This is a fun experience to do with the whole family.
     Candy Buck is the make-up artist extraordinare that is part of the Boo-tiful Portraits family.  Her brother Aaron Buck is the photographer that runs the photo session portion of the process. And the third part of this explosive team is Barbara Goodwin who we did not have the pleasure of meeting yet.  She is the photo effects specialist.

Plenty of refreshments

Kids loved all the snacks that were provided. (We definitely owe them a box of chips.)

When we first arrived at the Boo-tiful Portraits Studio we were greeted with open arms by Candy.  She immediately put every one at ease by welcoming us into her home studio.

The video games were a hit with Jojo.

 In the waiting room there are plenty of things for the kids to do to keep them occupied. Candy provided a wide assortment of video games, kid appropriate movies and props to play with.  You can browse through some of her past creations to get an idea of what kind of make-up styles you would like applied.

All the kids were entertained.

 Everyone gets a turn in the chair. Candy makes sure that everyone gets the full treatment.  Her professional make-up techniques are spot-on. She provides all the necessary tools and products to bring out the boo-tiful inner ghoul in you.

 All of the make-up she uses comes off easily with a few wipes of a cloth at the end of the photo shoot.

The time spent in the make-up chair all depends on the type of effect you would like applied.

 When it comes time to take the photos, you will find that Candy's brother, Aaron, has been hard at work getting the whole scene ready. 

Bloody martini anyone?

Plenty of props and scene setters to get the perfect shot.

A fireplace in the background comes complete with old charred bones and skulls to really give it that authentic crypt keeper look.

If you are lacking the proper costume or maybe in need of some fancy headgear, Candy has plenty to choose from.  Check out the old Vitrola to hear your favorite tunes.

The waiting room has plenty of Hollywood flare to check out too.  Any movie buff would feel right at home here at the Boo-tiful Studios.

After all of the formalities are taken care, it's time for the portrait studio.  

The finished products came out amazing.
