Valentines Day Photo Prop Background DIY

     Valentines Day is coming up real soon and for those of you that might be looking for a fun thing to do with the kiddos, or maybe even planning a Valentines day party, here is a fun idea.  Try making your own photo booth or photo prop background.  That's what we are doing this weekend. :)  We're starting with some butcher paper that will turn a drab white wall into a unique photo background.  You can use anything to make a fun prop.   I will be cutting out hearts, bringing out glitter, markers, Valentine balloons, pillows, and really anything Valentine related. As far as colors to be used, maybe pinks, reds and whites will work.  
     You can make it fancy, vintage or sparkly kid FUN !!  Today we will be going with the "Sparkly Kid Fun" theme, so anything goes! :):)  (Especially once you give the kids markers and glue! LOL :):))  Don't forget to add some fun, festive music and now you're all ready to start making some super awesome special memories that will last a lifetime.  Most importantly is to have fun by letting the kids use they're imagination. 
     And at the end of your memory making is the clean-up. When you are all done, all you have to do is peel off the butcher paper and voila'! In the trash...easy cleanup. :):)

     Don't forget to grab your camera to record all those precious memories.  The new instant Polaroid camera's are also really fun to use with the kids! :):) Have fun!!!

Alice in Wonderland party decor

Luau centerpieces 2011 Birthday pool party ! :):)

 So it's that time again, summer!! We always have our daughter's pool luau birthday party around this time.  PERFECT weather for a pool party for sure.  It's summer, school's out and the kid's are ready for some fun in the SUN ! (Since when  do I overdue anything!!!) We always try to do our very best for our kid's birthday's.  Anyway, these are their childhood memories that will last a lifetime.  :):):) In this first picture you will see one of the centerpieces that I made for the party.  Table centerpiece that I made for the party !! :):)  balloon burst,  that my husband puts together every summer for the kids. :)  The treasure box,  I now have displayed on my aquirium. :):)  You always have to have some zebra print, with pink, at a 12 year old birthday party:)  The cutout that I bought at a party store, that I just had to have at our party :) My centerpiece :)

Spongebob centerpiece 2011

So it's June and I have a lot of projects this month going on.  It seem's like everything just creep's up on me so my Cricut machine has been working full speed.  My son's birthday is coming up and I am doing a Spongebob under the sea birthday theme party. Water games,  popcorn machine, snow cone machine and a pinata are all on the list of activities. I have been making spongebob decorations with my cricut machine.  I just love this centerpiece so I just had to post some pics,  I think it came out so cute !!  I will be posting more pics of all the final projects later.  Thanks for looking:) P.S Any of these items can be ordered, just let me know what you would like.
